Mid Coast

3pm update: The wind has just just swung to a light sou-wester so the change is not too far off. Surf is still pretty small and doesn’t look like it’ll pick up today, but it’ll probably cool down a bit.

0615: Conditions are glassy on the Mid Coast early, and winds are just a puff from the NW ahead of a hot day. There are still a few small lines of swell sneaking in, and it’s very much like the last few days at around 1′. The tide’s heading out from a nominal peak to an 0.6m low at 11am low and there’s only 50cm of incoming to the peak at 1750. Tides won’t have much effect today, of more note is a Southerly change that will swing the wind around late morning / lunchtime. It’ll cool things down, but add a few bumps along exposed stretches. The Southern end of South Port / Rincon will offer partial shelter. Swell hay increase  a bit this evening. Shred factor 4/10
