South Coast

Finally winds are light offshore from the NW on the South Coast this morning and it’s glassy early – but there’s barely any swell left. It’s like a race to the bottom on theĀ  Fleurieu today, Middleton is barely breaking and surf is only about a foot high down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. You might find the odd waist high one around at Waits and Parson’s, if you don’t mind flies, a crowd, and a dead whale floating around just off the coast. It’s not gonna get a whole lot better today, especially when the SW-S change arrives late morning and turns the wind onshore. The arvo looks tiny and choppy, so sad as it is, this morning’s as good as it’ll get. Shred factor 3/10
