Mid Coast

It’s cooler on the Mid Coast this morning, and after yesterday’s change the wind has gone straight back to a light offshore sou-easter. There’s not much swell in the gulf, and surf is barely a foot on the reefs with the tide heading out until 1130. The forecast predicts winds will shift more to the South and pick up during the morning, possibly gusting over 20 knots after lunch. Exposed stretches will get bumpy from the wind, but the Southern end of South Port will be part sheltered. Some new swell should begin to sneak in on the incoming tide, so there’s a chance of a late session this evening. Shred factor 2/10
