Winds are from the WSW at around 15 – 20 knots on the South Coast this morning, and exposed stretches are bumpy and a bit blown out. Surf is still around 3 – 5′ along the Middleton – Goolwa stretch, 3′ inside the Bay, with part sheltered 2 -3′ surf around at Chiton / Gap. Waitpinga and Parson’s will be bigger but probably too raw and out of control. The forecast predicts SW winds easing back to 10 – 15 knots by mid arvo, but it’ll be onshore and a bit messy for the better part of the day.
