South Coast

The wind has swung from cross-shore yesterday to onshore on the South Coast this morning, with Southerlies around 20 knots. The surf is not looking great with 3′ of mush at Middleton, and slightly bigger mush between Day St. and Goolwa. You’ll find 2 -3′ mush around at Chiton / Gap, and 1 – 2′ mush at The Dump. The wind will stay onshore all day but should wind back from lunchtime onward, possibly under 10 knots and possibly even becoming variable by late arvo. The swell should stay about the same all day, so there’s a chance of a late paddle with lumpy/glassy conditions. Shred factor 4/10.
