South Coast

The breeze has gone ’round to a light offshore Nor-easter on the South Coast early, but there’s plenty of leftover lump in the swell from SE winds yesterday. Surf is back to around 3′ between Middleton and Goolwa and it’s lumpy / glassy, with glassy / peaky 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap. There’s probably a couple of hours of light winds, but eventually, the sou-easter will kick in and up the lump factor again. Wave heights probably won’t change much today, but it will be messier from late morning on. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10.
