South Coast

The breeze is trying to go NE on the South Coast this morning, but it’s still mostly from the East at 7 knots. The swell has that typical spring easterly look, sort of weak and lumpy. Surf is around 2 – 3′ between Middleton and Goolwa and again, it’s breaking all over the place. There are glassy / lumpy 1 – 2′ waves around at Chiton and The Gap. The Bureau of Met predicts E-SE winds are 10 – 15 knots for the rest of the day, so it ain’t gonna clean up any time soon. The rest of the day will be lumpy, and tomorrow looks like opening in a similar fashion ahead of a SW change. More on that in the surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10.
