Another westerly swell is teasing the South Coast this morning, mostly rolling past despite clean conditions. Winds are from the WNW at 7 – 10 knots, but surf is still only 1′ at Middleton, with rare bigger sets between Day St. and Goolwa . Waits and Parson’s again are the only options for shortboarders at 1 – 2′. The swell should lift a bit later today, but so too will the wind – tending SW after lunch ar 25 knots. The wind will make a mess of anywhere exposed, and sheltered spots will be avoided by the swell. Try Middleton Bay / Point late arvo, but don’t have high expectations. Shred factor 5/10.
