South Coast

Conditions are clean on the South Coast early with North winds around 15 knots – but it’s basically dead flat. There are no waves between Middleton and Goolwa, and even Waits and Parson’s are barely managing 1′ waves. North winds will start to pick up soon, and by mid-morning gusts may be close to 30 knots/ There’s a cool change on the way and it looks like a thunderstorm too – there’s already lightning out to sea. The wind will go Westerly around lunchtime, then shift gusty onshore SW to 30 knots ( or more ) soon after. The sea will become chopped up but the surf will remain very small for the time being. There are pretty much zero options today, but it should improve later this week. Last surf forecast for 2019 has the scoop. Shred factor 1/10
