South Coast

The wind is light from the West and conditions are mostly clean on the South Coast this morning, but it’s almost dead flat. Surf is not even 1′ between Middleton and Goolwa, and even Waits and Parson’s will struggle to produce anything surfable this morning. A gusty W-SW change is on the way, and will probably arrive mid-morning or thereabouts. Conditions will become chopped up as the wind builds, and gusts may reach 30 knots. The winds will swing onshore after lunch and probably whip up 1 – 2′ of chop, but no real swell is expected today. The breeze will ease in the evening and tend more Southerly. Outlook heading into the weekend is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 1/10
