The swell has eased on the South Coast overnight, but it’s clean and well-lined up this morning with very light NW winds. There’s still surf around 3′ at Middleton, and a few bigger sets down through Day St. and toward Goolwa. There are glassy 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton / Gap, Waits and Parson’s will be a bit bigger but probably a bit big on the sets. The swell will continue to wind back after lunch, and the wind will most likely go onshore and tend SW-S by late arvo. The wind will take the gloss off, so the best of it will be in the next few hours. Get amongst it… there are not may days this clean and shoulder high in summer. Shred factor 9/10
