Mid Coast

There are still a few lines of swell sneaking into the Gulf this morning, but it is very full with a no-moon high tide just after 6am. There are 1′ waves on a few of the reefs, but with the big tide not everywhere is picking it up. The outgoing tide after 8am won’t help, but low tide at lunch may open up a few options on the beach breaks. A light sea breeze will probably pop up after lunch and add a few bumps, but hopefully it doesn’t amount to much. Yesterday ti just dropped out and glassed off. The swell will change direction and should begin to lift again on the incoming tide, but it won’t be ideal for the Mid Coast’s fickle reefs. Might be some clean mally waves mid arvo/evening. Shred factor 5/10
