South Coast

The wind is light from the SW and conditions are cleaner on the South Coast this morning, but the swell is a bit off in direction. Surf is around 1 – 2′ at Middleton, with a few bigger sets between Day St. and Goolwa, and Chiton / Gap have glassy 1 – 2′ waves. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, Waits Point will offer partial shelter early. Onshore South winds will kick in any time from sunrise onward, and pick up 15 – 20 knots after lunch. The onshores will chop it up petty badly by early arvo, and it’ll stay messy for the rest of the day. Wave heights don’t look like they’ll change much. Outlook heading into the weekend is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 5/10
