South Coast

After a glass off and cleaner conditions yesterday, the wind is actually light offshore on the South Coast early, tending NE at 5 knots. Unfortunately, surf is still only 1′ at Middleton with a few 1 – 2′ sets between Day St. and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger, and probably your best bet fora shortboard wave this morning. The next few hours will be the best of it, with the breeze going Easterly mid-morning ( after an hour or two of glassy conditions ) and then freshening from the SE after lunch. Swell direction won’t be great today, so expect small, sloppy waves after lunch. Early’s OK though. Shred factor 6/10.
