South Coast

Swell’s big on the South Coast this morning but it’s also a mess with SE winds around 22 knots. Surf has picked up to 5 – 6′ between Middleton and Goolwa, but it’s breaking all over the place with loads of whitewater. The swell is also getting in between Port Elliot and Victor with messy 4 – 5′ surf at Chiton / Gap, and lumpy 2 – 3′ waves at The Dump. There may be a few spots out West of Victor worth checking too. The breeze should back off a bit mod morning, but it will probably get back up to 20 knots or more again from the SE after lunch. The swell will peak probably later this morning, but it’ll remain big and messy all day. Outlook for tomorrow and next week is in the updated surf forecast. Shred factor 4/10.
