Mid Coast

The wind is fresh from the SE on the Mid Coast this morning, but there are a few lines of swell managing to hit the reefs/ It’s a bit full coming up to high tide at 0740, but there are 1′ waves breaking on selected reefs. The gusts are still 17 knots or so so the more exposed breaks are a little blown out. The breeze should lighten off a bit after 9am, and a few more breaks may show whitewater as the tide drops. Low tide between 1 and 2pm will favour the beach breaks and the Trig’s, but there is a chance the wind will swing more Southerlty after lunch and add bumps. The incoming tide should still bring a few waist-high waves, so hopefully the breeze switches back to the SE in the evening. There’s a new surf forecast up as of last night. Shred factor 4/10
