South Coast

The breeze is light offshore on the South Coast this morning, tending Northerly at 5 knots. The swell isn’t big but it’s reasonably straight with surf around 2′ at Middleton, with occasional few bigger lumps breaking down toward Day St. and Goolwa. Waitpinga and Parson’s will offer a bit more size for experienced surfers. The swell still has a slight wobble in it but it’ll be nice and straight from about 9am onward, with 10 1-5 knot offshore winds unlikely to blow it out. The breeze looks like it’s gonna drop out sometime mid arvo, so there’s a good chance of glass off later. The swell is in decline, so size may be a bit marginal for a late one – especially around the Middleton side. Outlook for the week ahead is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 7/10.
