South Coast

The great run of offshore winds and clean conditions continues on the SOuth oast this morning with North winds around 7 knots. There’s new swell but it’s got a lot of west in it, so it’s mostly rolling right past at the moment. Surf is 1 – 2′ along the Middleton – Surfers stretch, and not much bigger down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Just keep in mind, an ( experienced ) surfer was knocked from his board at Cliffs after lunch yesterday, so the water may be “liveley”. Waits and Parson’s will offer more size for more experienced surfers. The wind will remain offshore all day, possibly up to 20 knots at times but mostly 10 – 15. It’s looking stronger heading into the weekend, I’ll update the surf forecast tonight with more info.
