South Coast

The wind is cross-offshore on the South Coast early at around 10 knots so conditions are clean first thing. Unfortunately, the swell still has a lot of West in it and that’s limiting size, with surf around 1- 2′ at Middleton and occasionally bigger down through Day St. / Cliffs / Goolwa. Waits and Parson;’s will be bigger, and Waits will favour the wind. The swell will lift during the day and the arvo will be bigger, dut with strong W-SW winds possibly up to 30 knots, it’s not looking great. The Dump or Middleton Bay might hold out with something late arvo, everywhere else will probably be a write off by then.
