Mid Coast

The Mid Coast is onshore and messy again this morning, with WSW winds at 22 knots. Surf is more choppy than stormy with waves around 2′, with a few bigger sets up the Northern end of South Port. The rest of the day looks like more of the same, and after lunch we might see gusts over 30 knots. The strong onshores should whip up a stormy, but whether it’s enough for sheltered spots remains to be seen. The Mid proper will lift to 3′ or so, and the swell should draw out in length on the incoming tide. High tide is just before 6pm, and it’ll be huge with the surge behind it. New surf forecast is due tonight.
