South Coast

The dreaded spring onshores continue to make a mess on the South Coast this morning, tending SSE at 15 knots. Surf at Middleton is basically 2 – 3′ of dross, and it’s not looking any more tempting down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. There are occasional 3′ lines pushing in at Knight’s / Boomer, but it’s pretty bumpy. Waits and Parson’s will just be bigger and messier. It’ll stay onshore and ugly all day today, winds may get up around 15 – 20 knots from the S-SE, easing back late arvo. Middleton Bay might get the grommies out for a grovel, but that’s about as thrilling as it’ll get today. Check the latest surf forecast to see how the rest of the week is looking.
