South Coast

A light Northerly is doing its best to sort out the lumps on the South Coast, and conditions are glassy early. Surf is around 3′ at Middleton but there are lots of lines further out, with a new SW swell starting to push in. There are a few 4′ sets and long rows down toward Cliffs and Goolwa, and there are glassy 3′ waves around at Chiton and The Gap. Waits and Parson’s will probably be closing out on the sets, and as the swell lifts that will happen more often. The wind will probably be alright for a few hours this morning but it’s looking like swinging onshore late morning / early arvo. Should be a foot bigger after lunch.
