Mid Coast

It’s clean on the Mid Coast this morning with light offshore East winds, but swell is still on the small side. It’s also very full coming up to a big tide at 0640, there are a few more lines on the reefs than yesterday but it’s still only shin high with rare 1′ sets. The outgoing tide won’t help after 0730, but low tide between midday and 1pm will probably deliver a few small peelers to the beach breaks and Trigs. After lunch it looks like a Southerly / sea breeze will probably kick in and add some bumps again, before a late SE wind cleans it up in the evening. The swell should lift slightly as the tide comes in and there will be the odd 1′ waves this evening despite a less-than-ideal swell direction.
