South Coast

East winds at 10 knots have maintained the lumps on the South Coast this morning, but there is some swell. Surf is in the 3 – 4′ range between Middleton and Goolwa with a bit of a gap between the sets. Chiton / Gap have lumpy 2 – 3′ waves, Parson’s Point will be part sheltered and the sets will be head high. It looks like conditions will go from not great to terrible after lunch, as winds shift directly onshore from the South and pick up to 25 knots. The swell should stick around, but it’ll get very chopped up. The weekend looks like more of the same, more on that in tonight’s forecast.
