South Coast

The wind is just a puff from the North and conditions are clean and glassy on the South Coast – but small. Surf is only 1′ on the sets between Middleton and Goolwa, and even a nine-foot log would struggle this morning. Waitpinga or Parson’s are really about the only options for anything surfable, and even those spots will be marginal this morning. The wind will soon begin to pick up, and by mid morning it may be 20 knots from the NW, and starting to shift Westerly. The afternoon looks pretty bad with W-SW winds increasing to 25 knots, and finally a fresh southerly by mid to late arvo. Quality will deteriorate throughout the day, and surf will remain small until late arvo when the chop has built to 2′. Fresh forecast will be up this evening.
