South Coast

Great start to the weekend and the holiday break on the South Coast this morning, winds are light offshore and conditions are glassy with a well liked up swell.  Surf is around 3′ at Middleton, with bigger sets down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s will be bigger for those after a bit more juice. It should be OK for the next few hours but don’t leave it too late – a cool change is on the way. The forecast predicts onshores will kick in later this morning, and build in strength during the afternoon. Conditions will start to turn pretty quickly once the wind swings, and the arvo will be a chopped up mess. Make the most of it while you can – there’ll be a few days on onshores after this.  Shred factor 8/10
