A change rolled through overnight and it’s cooler on the Mid Coast this morning, with winds from the SSE at around 12 knots. The swell direction is too southerly now and surf is weak and peaky, and barely 1′ coming up to high tide at 0750. Not a lot will change as the tide heads out, although South Port will work better through the low tide just after lunch. Everywhere else will cop it from the wind all day, as Southerlies hit 20 – 25 knots along exposed stretches. Swell may be a bit bigger by late arvo, and there is always a chance winds will swing more SE in the evening and tidy it up a bit. Shred factor 2/10
