Surf is around 2 – 3′ along Middleton / Day St. stretch, the Bay / Point are not as windy but it’s gusting 25 knots down toward Cliffs / Goolwa. Chiton / Gap and a bit bumpy at 1 – 2′, Waits Point will be part sheltered and should be a bit bigger. Swell will build a bit, but overall conditions will deteriorate later.  Shred factor 6/10

Mid Coast

The cool change rolled through overnight and winds are onshore from the West this morning, up around 25 knots. Conditions are messy on the Mid Coast with choppy 2′ surf and a small stormy starting to build. The forecast predicts W-SW winds in the 20 – 30 knot range for the rest of the day, so give it a few hours to whip up wind swell in the gulf. Part sheltered / stormy spots will be the go after lunch, but it probably won’t get big enough for metro jetties and beaches. Shred factor 4/10

Mid Coast

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with light ENE winds, and a few small lines of swell still sneaking in. There are 1′ waves on the reefs with bigger sets now and then, coming up to high tide at 0830. It’ll hold up OK for the next few hours, but it’ll get a bit slow through high tide and the outgoing tide will kill it a bit mid morning. The beachies will have a few waves through the low tide early arvo, but it looks like Northerly winds may add a few bumps. The forecast predicts 10 – 15 knots which isn’t too bad, but the breeze will get probably stronger late arvo / evening.  Shred factor 6/10

Surf is around 2 – 3′ along Middleton – Goolwa stretch, 2′ around at Chiton / Gap, with Waits and Parson’s a bit bigger. The forecast predicts light / variable winds all day, but onshores may be a bit stronger after lunch at maybe 12 knots. Middleton Bay / Point will be OK if you can stand the brown gunge, or smaller, peaky waves around at Chiton. Shred factor 5/10

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with light offshore East winds, and a few small lines of swell sneaking in. There are 1′ waves on the reefs with bigger sets now and then, coming up to high tide at 0810. It’ll hold up OK for the next few hours, but mid morning the dropping tide will kill the higher tide breaks. The beachies will have a few waves through the low tide early arvo, but a sea breeze will probably have kicked in by then. The arvo will be bumpy until evening, when the land breeze will kick in and clean it up. Shred factor 6/10

The forecast predicts onshores all day but not much over 10 knots after lunch. If you can stand the milo froth, try Middleton Bay / Point for a grovel.  Shred factor 5/10

Mid Coast

South winds around 7 knots are adding a few bumps on the Mid Coast early, and it’s also pretty full coming up to high tide just before 8am. Surf is very small, and all you’ll find on the reefs this morning are ankle slappers. It probably won’t get much better as the tide heads out, although the beachies might have some learner waves through low tide at lunch. The arvo will probably be small and bumpy with South winds around 15 knots, tending SE in the evening. Shred factor 2/10

Winds are from the ENE at around 5 – 7 knot on the South Coast early, with peaky / glassy conditions. Surf is around 3′ along Middleton – Goolwa stretch, and glassy 2′ around at Chiton / Gap. Waits and Parson’s will be a bit bigger, and again winds will favour Parson’s. The forecast predicts NE-N winds will pick up during the morning, possibly gusting over 25 knots. It’ll quickly become blown out if the wind gets that strong, and a gusty W-SW change after lunch will finish it off. Shred factor 6/10

Mid Coast

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with offshore East winds around 5 knots, and some swell leftover from yesterday. Coming up to high tide at 0720 surf is around 1′ on the reefs with long waits for the bigger ones. The dropping tide will start to kill it mid morning, but not long after N winds will begin to pick up. The beachies will probably be bumpy through low tide at lunch, and N-NW winds around 20 knots will keep it that way. A W-SW change will arrive sometime after lunch, and turn wins onshore.
