Mid Coast

NW winds are around 15 knots the Mid Coast early, adding bumps to what looks like a new WSW swell. Surf is around 1′ on the reefs with a few bigger sets, but it’s full coming up to high tide and the wind won’t help it for the next few hours. The forecast predicts NW winds to 20 knots shifting W-SW around lunchtime, then SW-S my mid – late arvo. The swell will be bigger on the incoming tide after lunch, so you might get a grovel at Seaford of Moana Nth. There’s a slim chance the breeze will tend SSE this evening, so keep an eye on it just in case. More likely though, it’ll stay a bit bumpy all day. Shred factor 4/10.
