Mid Coast

An onshore sou-wester at 12 knots has just kicked in on the Mid Coast, chopping up what were glassy conditions at 6am. It’s very full and slow coming up to high tide at 0840, and surf is around 1′, occasionally bigger.  By the time the tide starts draining out the wind will probably be up around 20 knots. After lunch, and combined with the tide draining out of the gulf 1 – 2′ of chop is what you should expect. Low tide is at 3pm, it’s not very low and there’s on;y 50cm of incoming before it gets dark. Shred factor 1/10.
