Mid Coast

Conditions are bumpy on the Mid Coast this morning with winds from the WNW at 12 knots. There are 1-2′ waves on the reefs coming up to high tide just before 9am, but the choppy mess on offer won’t thrill you. As the tide heads out, the wind will tend more Westerly, and after lunch it’s predicted to gust over 25 knots. The breeze will be more SW by late arvo, so conditions will be stormy and onshore. The wind will add another foot or so of chop, but again it probably won’t be enough for stormy spots to fire. Seaford should offer bumpy chest high waves for the grommies after school. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 3/10.
