Mid Coast

Conditions are clean on the Mid Coast early with light SE winds and a bit of Southerly lump in the swell, which is still tiny. Going through high tide surf is barely shin high on the most co-operative reefs, and the outgoing tide isn’t going to help. Kow tide at lunch will uncover plenty of reef along the coast, but probably won’t reveal much more than 1′ surf on the beach breaks. The wind should have swung SW by that stage, and after lunch the onshores will add chop. The swell should lift a bit mid arvo, but quality will be poor. Realistically you probably won’t be surfing the Mid today. South is abetter bet. Outlook for tomorrow is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 1/10
