Mid Coast

Onshore winds continue on the Mid Coast this morning with Westerlies around 5 – 10 knots adding plenty of bumps. Surf is around 1′, maybe slightly bigger on the sets coming up to high tide at 0830. Not a lot will change as the tide drops, although low tide early arvo will probably produce a bit more size on the beaches at Moana and South Port. There might be a window sometime after lunch, with winds possibly going SE for a few hours. Depending on when that happens and how long it lasts, there may be a few cleaner waist-high waves for a while. It appears SW winds will return by late arvo and chop it up. Outlook for the rest of the week is in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 2/10
