Mid Coast

The swell has stuck around on the Mid Coast, but there’s still bumps leftover from WNW winds yesterday and overnight. Early the breeze is NW at 7 knots and surf is around 2′ on the reefs, with the tide just starting to head out. The dropping tide will knock some stuffing out of the swell after 0730, but low tide might produce more size at South Port and less fatness at Trigs. The wind should remain under 10 knots all day, and might go to light/variable after lunch. It’s worth keeping an eye on the incoming tide, hopefully there’ll still be a few sets hitting the reefs mid arvo. It will get pretty full later coming up to high tide at 0540. Check the updated surf forecast to see how tomorrow is looking.
