Mid Coast

10 knot North winds are adding bumps on the Mid Coast this morning and last night’s bumper swell seems like it was an age ago. There are still some 1 – 2′ waves hitting the reefs, and spots like The Trough are handling the breeze a bit better. The tide ie headed out, low tide is at 11am and by then the wind will be up to 17 knots from the North. The BoM expects the Northerly will then settle in for the day, and surf will remain bumpy on the incoming tide after lunch. It should still lift on the incoming after 1pm, and Moana Nth might be OK for a late paddle with the big tide peaking at 5pm.  New surf forecast tonight, I’ll try and get it up a bit earlier ahead of the long weekend.
