South Coast

The swell has eased a bit on the Soth Coast overnight but it’s still pretty solid this morning. The wind has also swung to a light offshore Northerly which has helped line the swell up better. Surf is over 6′ between Middleton and Goolwa, and some of the sets are almost 1km out to sea. Once again there’s plenty of the swell getting in between Port Elliot and Victor, with 4 – 6′ sets at Chiton / Gap and Bullies picking up a few. The Dump is clean with 3′ waves, and a few sheltered spots will be worth a look this morning. The swell has peaked and will wind back a bit after lunch, winds should be good this morning but may waft onshore for the arvo. Hopefully it just remains offshore all day. Shred factor 8/10.
