The wind remains onshore on the South Coast this morning, but it has dropped back to around 17 knots from the SW. Surf is still a good 3 – 4′ at Middleton, and 2′ around at Chiton / Gap. Sheltered spots aren’t going to pick up the swell fading today. Not much will change for the rest of the day, winds will remain similar strength and it’ll be bumpy anywhere exposed. Middleton Bay will offer a chest-high grovel for the better part of the day. Shred factor 4/10.
