South Coast

A 10 knot Westerly wind is threatening to swing offshore on the South Coast this morning, but the cross-shore is adding a few bumps. Surf is around 2 – 3′ at Middleton, with occasional bigger sets between longer gaps down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Chiton / Gap are around 1 – 2′ and a bit bumpy, Waits will be bigger and may offer partial shelter up toward the point. The wind should be light all day, and there’s a good chance it’ll be NW from early to late arvo. The swell size and direction won’t change much, so it’s worth holding off to see if it cleans up after lunch. Shred factor 5/10.
