South Coast

The xmas holiday heartache continues on the South Coast with light onshores winds and lumpy / glassy conditions early. There’s still no swell, and surf is barely 1′ at Middleton and not much bigger down toward Cliffs and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s are your only hope for a shortboard wave this morning, but even those more exposed spots are marginal. The forecast predicts the wind will pick up mid – late morning, and may get to 15 knots from the S-SE after lunch. The breeze should drop out again in the evening and it may glass off. Unfortunately though, surf will remain small all day. Shred factor 2/10
