South Coast

The South Coast is looking the best it has this decade this morning, winds have swung offshore overnight and the swell is a lot cleaner. There is still a slight wobble but it’s fairly swell lined up, with surf around 1 – 2′ between Middleton and Goolwa. Waits and Parson’s will be slightly bigger, and you’ll probably be able to pick one or the other. The party won’t last all day, and the next few hours will be the best of it as a gusty W-SW change approaches. Conditions will become a bit blown out possibly by late morning with 20 knot plus gusts from the N-NW. The change looks like it’ll arrive early arvo and turn winds cross-onshore within an hour or two. After that it’ll be a write-off. First surf forecast for the decade will tell you how the rest of the week is looking Shred factor 6/10
