Conditions are glassy on the South Coast with very light North winds early, but it’s almost dead flat. Surf is barely 1′ between Middleton and Goolwa, and even Waits & Parson’s will be marginal this morning. It’s academic really with a fresh Nor-wester not far away, ahead of a gusty cool change from the West. It should arrive mid-morning, and the strong cross-offshore winds ahead of it will be good for the kite / wind crew. Once the wind swings exposed beaches will become choppy with W-SW winds at 25 knots for the rest of the afternoon. The swell is a ways off and will remain small today. Even a grovel later today looks doubtful. The next few days should be bigger, and windy. More on that in the latest surf forecast. Shred factor 2/10
