Winds continue to not play nice on the South Coast, tending East ar 15 knots after almost a month of offshores in July. There’s still swell but waves are breaking all over the place, with messy surf around 3 – 4′ between Middleton and Goolwa. There are lumpy 2 – 3′ waves around at Chiton and the Gap, Waits and Parson’s will be bigger and Parson’s point will favour the East in the wind. The BoM predicts E-SE winds at 15 – 20 knots all day, possibly easing off mid arvo. Conditions will remain wind affected all day. New surf forecast tonight.
