Surf is around 1′ on the reefs and nowhere looks that great, coming up to high tide at 0847. The dropping tide won’t change much, but the lower tide may mean a few more waves on the beachies mid arvo. It’s going to stay bumpy pretty much all day with South winds up around 15 – 20 knots later. The breeze should swing back to a sou-easter and clean it up a bit heading toward sunset. Onshores may get up around 30 knots later today and it’ll whip up some wind swell, but it probably won’t develop into a full-blown stormy. Messy 2′ is more likely, with winds easing into the evening.
